Delete your data

Remove your data from the Japa Mala Counter app, and how to ask us to delete anything held off your device.

On-device data (delete it yourself, instantly)

Your mantras, bead counts, daily totals, streaks and settings are stored only on your device.

Because it lives on your device, you can remove it at any time:

  • In the app: Settings → Delete all data erases everything at once.
  • Android Settings → Apps → Japa Mala Counter → Storage → Clear data removes all app data.
  • Uninstalling the app removes all on-device data.

Request deletion of anything held off your device

The app has no account and sends nothing to us, so we hold no app data about you. The only thing we could hold is email you have sent us. To have that deleted, email us:

  • To: Send deletion request ✉
  • Subject line: Delete my data — Japa Mala Counter
  • Include: the address you wrote to us from, if it differs from the one you send this request from.

We acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete verified deletions within 30 days, then confirm by email. If any data cannot be deleted for legal reasons, we will explain why.
