Delete your data

Remove your data from the Nitnem & Gurbani Daily app, and how to ask us to delete anything held off your device.

Last updated: 28 October 2026

01

On-device data (delete it yourself, instantly)

Your Nitnem (which banis you read at each part of the day, in which order and version), the banis you have read (when you finished each one, and for how long it was open), where you left off in a bani, your reminders and your reading settings are stored only on your device. The Gurbani itself is part of the app.

Because it lives on your device, you can remove it at any time:

  • In the app: Settings → Delete all data erases everything at once.
  • Android Settings → Apps → Nitnem & Gurbani Daily → Storage → Clear data removes all app data.
  • Uninstalling the app removes all on-device data.

Request deletion of anything held off your device

The app has no account and sends nothing to us, so we hold no app data about you. The only thing we could hold is email you have sent us. To have that deleted, email us:

  • To: Send deletion request ✉
  • Subject line: Delete my data — Nitnem & Gurbani Daily
  • Include: the address you wrote to us from, if it differs from the one you send this request from.

We acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete verified deletions within 30 days, then confirm by email. If any data cannot be deleted for legal reasons, we will explain why.
